English

In recent decades, increasing social resilience has become one of the widespread goals of planning. A more resilient community can better address challenges in times of crisis. Urban neighborhoods play a crucial role in enhancing social resilience as one of the smallest urban division. The research method is descriptive-analytical, utilizing survey methods and questionnaire tools for data collection. The questionnaire was developed based on frequent indicators in the sources. The study population includes residents of the Noghan neighborhood in Mashhad, with a sample size of 120 individuals selected for the study. Sampling was conducted using an accessible manner, considering the sensitivity of the residents due to the implementation of renovation plans and a special detailed plan, while efforts were made to include various segments in the survey.Through analyzing the correlation of each factor with others, it was found that the highest correlation was related to security, followed by identity, interactions, attachment to place, and the lowest correlation was related to social participation. Structural equation modeling results indicated that the "identity" factor was recognized as an independent variable and had an impact on "participation," "security," and "attachment" with weights of 0.23, 0.56, and 1, respectively. In this model "Participation," "security," and "attachment" factors were identified as mediating variables. The place attachment factor affects interactions, participation, and security with weights of 0.42, 0.23, and 0.44, respectively. Participation affects interactions with a weight of 0.95, and security affects interactions with a weight of 0.54. Interactions are identified as the dependent variable influenced by other factors.
