Abstract

It seems that in the course of Amrulith, the relations between the Saffrid and the Samanids were not be hostile for reasons such as both dynasties’ being Iranian and the existence of Abbasid caliphate. Despite this expectation, the review of resources shows that the parties had tensions during the course. This research is based on a detailed descriptive analysis of resources that seeks to provide a precise narrative of the ups and downs of the hostile relations between Amrulith and Ismail Samanid. The findings of this study demonstrated that in explaining the relations between the two sides, the developmental intentions of Amrulith in capturing Mavra’-Alnhr played the main role .. Nevertheless, the intentions of Amir Saffarid faced a major challenge in action due to the presence of the military political activists in the Great Khorasan. The relationship between Amrulith and Ismail Samani greatly affected these actors. Eventually, the same military political forces with the support of the Samanids led to the weakening and decay of the Omrulit government.
