Adaptation and Dramaturgy have an important place in Iranian literature. The story of Salaman and Absal has been translated by Hunayn ibn Ishaq from Greek to Arabic. This story has been adapted, interpreted and dramaturgized by Khorasan's scholars .This dramaturgic process is seen in Ibn Sīnā ninth section of Al-Isharat wa’l-tanbihat, Nasir al-Din Tusi 's Sharh al-Isharat and Jami's poem .In this essay the story of Salaman and Absal as one of the most important works in Iranian literature in Islamic period is explored.
Have these scholars interpreted the story of Salaman and Absal in a dramaturgic trend? And if they have, what kind of dramaturgy is? This essay will show us that on the base of Interpretation's meaning- which is come back to "Origin"- the trend of dramaturgy for Salaman and Absal will be interpretational dramaturgy. It means that Iranian scholars sought the truth of a story through dramaturgy process.
The research method in this essay is Qualitative-Phenomenological through Hermeneutic viewpoint. In this method, researcher tries to know himself through the phenomena which he is searching. Then, this method opposes the Quantitative method which is based on objective rules and Data analysis and in which researcher goes far from his own self .From other point, this essay wants to get close to Fusion of Horizons. At first, present horizon will be opened, and in this we found things which are known in the past time.
